Not sure, I actually never pay attention.
I need gas to drive, I chose to drive what I drive, which means I pump a lot of gas.
I pump, I pay, and go about enjoying my day and my car!

I think maybe mid 3$ range last time I pumped, but really not sure, it is not important at all. If it was that important, that means I'm driving the wrong car

looking at gasbuddy in my area is ranges from $3.64-$4.15 a gallon. The app doesn't have a way to filter for Top Tier gas so its all of the stations.

The Feds take in more money on fuel tax
than the oil company does on profit.

I remember going to a convention in Chicago a few years ago where I had to rent a car and drive on their freeway/interstate system to get around town. The first thing that bothered me is the fleecing that occurred on the Interstate roads, the ones initially funded and maintained by federal tax dollars, yet the state of Illinois was charging tolls on them. Now, I could forgive it, largely because I don't live there and it was only a temporary thing, if it weren't for the yard-wide craters right in the middle of the road that i had to swerve to avoid at 70 MPH or risk destroying my rental car. Clearly, the tolls weren't being collected on behalf of regular maintenance.

Now, I'm not an anti-taxer. Far from it. However, it's just been my experience that the more a government takes, the less it seems to give back.

BTW, my local Sam's Club in central Florida is around $3.35 for 93 the last time i checked.

You are a true Camaro devotee. I wonder how many of us are going to hang onto them when the various taxes/fees/penalties start in a few years. V-8s will be first, but they'll come for the V-6s eventually. All in the name of Progress.

Sweden is a bit more expensive, overall cost of living, IIRC. Years ago I had a couple of foreign exchange students (friends) from Sweden. Blonde hair, blue eyes, and parents were doctors. (pack my bags) :D:smiling1:

The age old discussion of fuel prices..LOL. My answer is the same, as always - I don't pay attention to the price of a gallon of gas. I know my car spends most of its time either at the pump or in the garage. It is something that the car needs regardless, so I don't see much benefit in being concerned with what the current price is..

Having said that, it looks like premium is $3.79 here. So coming from the OP's price to mine, with 20 gallons, we are looking at roughly $5.20 difference.
