MBRP Axle back Drone?

Some owners say they have zero drone but does it really have zero drone or some slight drone at 1.5k-2k rpm? It looks like muffler delete with a jpipe to me.

To be honest it sounds so good i don't notice any drone at all .. I have 2SS A8 my friend has 2SS M6 we both love the Exhaust .. it sounds sick specially cold start

That's exactly what it is haha, but it works. I have the catback and even Long Tube headers on and I get zero drone.

Wait what? You installed an mbrp axle back on your A8 car? I thought those are only for M6? As it says in the description for "manual" transmission Camaros. I know coz I was about to buy one from phastek but they said it is not compatible with my A8, that it would run a CEL if I installed it? How did you go about that? I wanna know. Thanks

Axleback would be fine on a non npp car since it starts after the afm valves. Honestly I'm not sure if npp valves cause a code if unplugged like afm valves do

I am running the MBRP Axle Back on my 1LE. No codes were thrown at all.

No Codes , no CEL bc the Axel back is after the AFM ... you lose NPP but its so worth it

It does indeed have very little drone. That jpipe aka Helmholtz resonator is meant to significantly reduce in-cabin drone. I can talk to my passengers now.. couldn't do that when I had my Flowmaster Outlaw

I'very got the full exhaust with headers and the only drone I get is driving at 63-64mph, goes away at 62 and 65.

It's the option code for the dual mode (quad tip) exhaust with electronically controlled valves.
