She put 470hp to the ground

  • Vehicle: 2018 SS 1LE M6
  • Mods: CAI, TB, IM, Headers
  • Power Output: 470 hp / 447 tq

Note: The run files here are the final 6th and 7th dyno runs to get it tuned. You'll notice some heat soak affecting the #'s over time.

Yup running on 93. Corn is too expensive to fill up at 10mpg, lol. Besides it's more corrosive to seals/gaskets, pass.

I used to say that the SS was powered by a dragon... massively powerful, roars when you step on it, scares most people.

I have now decided the car is powered by a banshee, because the headers... oh my gawd the headers make it scream like nothing I've ever driven... and scares most people.

P.S. i kept the OEM suitcase muffler, so Tour/Stealth is still an option

Agreed on the headers sound. Doing WOT through the gears next to a concrete highway barrier with the windows down and NPP open is 100% bliss.

Do you have baseline numbers before the mods? 470 seems a tad high for the mods you have but that can be a dyno factor. Anyway enjoy your cars new power dont think about HP figueres too much, that will just break your hart and have you spending even more money on go fast parts.

Btw dont worry on E85... 55K miles on my car ONLY using E85 since 11K miles not 1 single issue regarding lines, pumps or anything. Remember GM has flex fuel car... just that in the camaro they didnt put the sensor but everything else is E85 capable.

Ahh excellent point on the E85... never considered it might be set already!!

And i'm happy with the results, just wish they cost a lil less. But pay to play.

I asked for a baseline dyno, but they said it gets the car freaking hot before they have to work on it.

I've been using E85 99% of the time for probably almost 50,000 miles now with zero problems. I've also had about 4 oil analyses done when changing oil and everything looks normal.

This isn't 1999 anymore dude. Cars are designed now to handle ethanol. There are no issues with seals/gaskets by using it.

Also, e85 fuel is cheaper to buy, and yes you get less mpg, but if you work out the cost mile per gallon and cost per gallon its pretty much the same as 93... and youll make another 20whp or more

Corn or E85 does nothing to the fuel system in the 6th Camaro, the corrosive issues are mainly for vehicles that are not designed for E85.

Vrodviddy 10-08-2019 06:43 AM

e85 would probably get u over the 500 barrier.

Osbornsm 10-11-2019 02:37 PM

Yeah i suppose I could have done corn.

Hindsight i suppose.

If i happen to find 10k i'll be track ready :smiling1:
