2017 fuse box lid

I am having a heck of a time installing the rear fuse box lid. It was bad enough to life the carpet. What boob invented this?

Gosh, caught by the forum police again. My wife has a 2017 c7. Anyone who owns a c7 knows about the rear carpet and fuse access issues.
