Chevy Performance badge on front header plate
 

I own a 2019 2SS Camaro with 10 speed auto, it was built on 9/27/2018.


I was installing some upgrades under the hood and seen the silver Chevy Performance badge on the front header plate, does this mean anything, like the motor has more horsepower than just the 455 or just that it was hand built by some one at the performance build center.


Just trying to figure why my Camaro has the badge under hood.


I've seen a lot of posts, but no real answers other than speculation.

They all have it.

The emblem used to say 'GM Performance'. Around 2013 it was changed from GM Performance to Chevrolet Performance. As some one else just stated all Camaros have it. Has nothing to do with additional performance or being hand built.
