Will grudge racing be allowed? Will it be no time?

Easy solution, run everybody in Index classes regardless of power type.

EXACTLY... I've said that for years now.

Just never pulled the trigger..:bonk:

Now we have some very serious racing for the classes we've built. Last year was the best ever.

An 11.0 or 11.2 ZL1 Index Class on a Pro Tree with no rules would be fun. DRs and a few of the usual mods should get most A10s in that range but might limit entries for newer ZL1 drivers with stock tires. An 11.5 Or 11.7 ZL1 index and Pro Tree would fit for almost all A10s on hot day and a few M6 cars. Idea is to get more ZL1s on the track as a branded group with a reasonable shot at a win.

Forget the model specific classes. Make them all model Index classes. Start at 10.0 and increment by 1.0 for 6/7 more classes.

Hate to ask a dumb question, but I see that Beach Bend is a NHRA track. I assume they will enforce to those rules during this event?

I've never raced index like this. Is each one second bracket a class, or do you match up the indexes against each other for a single overall champ?

Bill

Hey Mike - can you post the results of the drag racing?

Bill

PS: We appreciate the safe return of my wife's iPhone that was left in the ladies room. :)
