So I have used the blackfire "flashfire" method up until about six months ago, when I wet sanded the car and then I went to CQUK, and like Ronkh, I have had a love -hate relationship with the reload spray and thought I pretty much had most of the streaks gone. Until last week , when I was showing the car to a friend and the cloudy light hit it just right, and suddenly I could see smudges all over the car. So I've decided to try and take the reload off and keep the CQ.

I don't know if I did or not, but it was very successful today to get my "glass gloss" back that I've had, so here was the procedure that I used ....A bad picture, I'll add more pictures tomorrow but right now I'm very satisfied, not a single smudge or mark on the car.

Quik Rinseless spray down and dry
Lake Country white cool wave pad - Meguires 205 with Griots orbital on speed 5 - remove with 25/75 alcohol/water
Lake Country blue cool wave pad - Blackfire Total Polish and Seal -speed 2
Blackfire Crystal Seal - two coats
wipe down with 700 GSM super plush MF..
Total time: 2 hours

this is all about the procedure and tools, , if you use another brand, use it and find the equiv products in their line...

all reload smudges/streaks gone - car looks “glassy" again - I still think I have the CQUK, but what the hell do I know....

sorry, nite condo parking garage shots:
