Hey all, I’m new here, out of Indiana. First time 6th gen owner long time 4th gen owner. So don’t beat me up too much when I start asking questions lol. This is my 17 SS, 8 speed auto, all stock for now.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

The first thing I learned from this site owning a 4th gen is that GM no longer uses IAC valves lol.

GM started doing away with IAC in 2003 when electronic throttle bodies surfaced.

Thanks everyone! My plan is to do keep it simple and do a cam, bolt on, intake converter, stock ported heads setup for now, along with a 15” conversion. Jax, I noticed that also lol. KingLT1 it’s nice to see other people form Indiana lol.

i like that color. i’m south of indy a touch if you like to make pulls.
