I appreciate you looking into this matter. I have two questions:
1. Since I have had the top recall completed and then the new top doesn't those 2 events qualify as "repeated failure"?
2. If I purchase the GMPP and the top develops wear marks again which isn't covered by the GMPP, would that uncovered repeat failure be covered?

Hello! Thank you for your patience while I did some research on your question. A Component Coverage Letter is only applied to a vehicle if there has been a repeated failure on particular components of the vehicle. Looking at your bumper to bumper warranty, I see that you may be eligible for a GMPP as you had mentioned earlier. GMPPs are available for purchase if the vehicle is still within the parameters of the bumper to bumper warranty which will expire in March of this year, or 36,000 miles.
