I thought painted engine cover just meant painted the color of the exterior of the car...?

The engine cover that I ordered was the 1 that was the option (painted engine cover),with original order Oct 13,2008. the 1 with the flame paint job is the original, that came with the car, i had that painted..the optional engine cover is also being painted by a different painter in kansas, i haven't got that 1 back yet..
sounds like you are getting a good deal with your powder coating, or i got over charged

Ok, and how much did you pay for the painted GFX? Are they done at the dealer or at the powdercoating place? Your car is almost exactly how I want mine except for rims... You said you also ordered a hood cover? Whats that do? And why did you want it? Sorry for all the questions, but I would just like to know. I heard GFX were around 600$, rims 100-150 a rim, whats the difference between the exhaust bezels and exhaust tips on the GFX package?

How much did that paintjob under the hood run you?
