As many of you know, buying a part from a dealer up here is at least 25% more epensive then buying in the states even after duty is applied. Since many of us will be buying GM accessories, I suggest we do group purchases later this summer.
Just start a thread here and call it whatever you plan on buying and then those who are interested, should post in the thread that they want to get in on a group purchase. If we get 4 or more peeps per item, I'm sure we can get good deals similar to CamaroScotty in Buffalo.

The prices I'm starting to see seem pretty steep. I want to wait to see this stuff in person on your cars first to make any choices. lol There is going to be a ton of after market stuff eventually.

I have been away from this performance stuff for so long...anyone know or can recommend a good performance shop in the T.O. area. Wanted to get a mine tuned after it is broke in and have no idea where to take it. Guy on here from ADM Performance says they are getting an additional 25-30 HP out of the LS3 with just a tune. Seems kind of a waste to just leave those HP sitting there.

It shouldn't be hard to find a reputable Vette shop somewhere in the GTA.

There is a shop in pickering who specializes in the small block big block engines. I can't remember his name but the ad tells you what he does. Look under engines in the yellow pages.

Hey all - Didn't realize discussions were ongoing in our new little group here.
I got some prices on a few Camaro accessories from my dealer and they were so far out to lunch I swear that they are wrong. Try a couple on for size: Fuel door $371!!! CAI $1,114!!! (these are supposedly Cdn list)
I spoke with Dave the parts manager at Camaro Scotty's dealer and he offered 20% off a group buy from us southern Ontario guys if we want to organize it. Shipping is obviously a barrier, but with a large enough order we can probably make it worth while to contract an LTL shipment. Dave even suggested that he'd be willing to meet us half-way which for me here in Mississauga would mean about a 2.5 hr drive to meet him in say Detroit. Seems pretty far-fetched but I have yet to find a better deal on these accessories. And since I drive 5 hours one way to get to my cottage, this really isn't that long of a drive.
