I decided to press my blue OnStar button in my truck today to enter the win a GM car contest.
You may be interested to know that for calling, they give you 6 months free of OnStar (w/o navigation -- ~$90 for 3 months to add it). They try and offer phone minutes to you (declined that) and then ask for a credit card # for uninterrupted service (declined that too, much to the advisor's dismay).
I plan to do the same in my Camaro, mostly to have the anti-theft peace of mind for this Phoenix trip; plus get a 2nd entry in their contest.
