well my zl1 ducts with home made hose failed...i dont even know where the hose went. Has anyone like bannom made some ducts that can do a diy or know of a bolt on type kit.

So you have a ZL1 and you connected a hose to the port on the wheel well? Can you elaborate on what you did. As for aftermarket kits, a few promises from vendors that never materialized. The Camaro is a bitch to route hose. I just finished installing a different set of coilovers, so I don't have mine routed yet until I can get an alignment done. The front ducts and connectors to the dust shields are installed. I played around Friday routing the hose on the passenger side while it was on the lift. I bought a 2.5" hose and it definitely would have been easier with a 2" hose.

i have the zl1 front end complete with bellypan and brake ducts. they sit right where the adm intake .scoop would for reference. I bought cheapo flexible and expandable rubber tubbing from pepboys and tapped and rubber cemented the tube around the oblong zl1 duct. i then did the same through the suspension and to the dust shield. First run i was golden brakes didnt fade a bit and i was stomping on them. Second session i droped my lap time 7 seconds or so and after 20 ish minutes my brake pedal hit floor and no stoppy. when i got back into paddock area the hose were gone. now i know i kind of redneck rigged it but i didnt give it a lot of thought or time. Would be to easy to get a kit or see what someone else has done thats reliable.

No idea, but there may be a good solition next year because the Z28 is supposed to have break ducts.
