Local event I did not know about until today!
I am attending to promo the new Derby City Club, so would love to have some others show up to give the Mustang Mafia some comp, I know they will show in force, they are Huge in Carrollton!
To Kickoff the NASCAR WEEKEND
Downtown Carrollton KY is having:
Race Fest 2012- Wednesday, June 27th 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
There is an open car show, no charge, dash plagues and live entertainment, race simulators and it sounds like a great time.

Join the Carroll County Chamber, as we host the 2nd Annual Race Fest in downtown Carrollton on Wednesday, June 27th. This event is also sponsored by the City of Carrollton, Carroll County Fiscal Court, and Carroll County Tourism
The event features live music by two different bands, the Frito Lay racing simulator, remote control race cars from Budweiser, a motorcycle show with trophies awarded in several classes, a classic car cruise in, inflatable slide for the kids, and a Hot Wheels drag race at the Carroll County Library for the kids as well. There will be vendor booths, food, and Down on Main Street Restaurant will have karaoke and a beer garden. Also, WIKI FM (95.3) & WKID FM (95.9) will be on hand with live remotes! Several merchants have donated great items that will be given away that night (no purchase necessary), including tickets to the races!
