If this is all we are going to be offered as a "Track Pack" car then I think I'm going to be ill. I know i was wishfull thinking in actually seeing something close to the SSX Concept but the 1LE isn't even remotly close. Who are they marketing this car too? Same folks who dump 15K in mods only to take it out of the garage on the weekends to sit in a parking lot in a lawn chair next to it.
I feel like a kid on christmas morning opening my present only to find a pair of freakin' sox.

it might be a decent car to start with if you didnt have one already. i talked to a GM engineer the other day and he said the biggest obstacle for them is trying to get a good performance package that they can sell to everyone. i know this is supposed to be a purpose built car and your right that they could have done more. ill probably just keep tinkering with the one i have.
when is your first event this year? im on a project til we go to vir in june. i plan to do three events total this year. the one in june at vir, a nasa event at mid ohio in august and then one more somewhere.

I understand they can please all the people all the time was just hoping that if they were going to do a "Track Pack" car they would have tried to please us guys here in this group that are serious about taking our cars to the track.
I'll actually be on event #6 the first week in May. It's great being in AZ, we only take a break in July because of the heat . The tracks you have scheduled this year sound great. I have a friend in Jersey trying to get me to ship my car up there to take on some great NE courses. Would be nice to drop two off into the grass rather than the dirt for a change .
