I have heard of the same thing...Some after market stuff I stay away from...Definately if I get a SS hood it will be from a true SS. Taking him this weekend to get the security light checked out, next will be new tires, then the sound system...not to happy with it. Crud I need to do a new suspension system on him as well....My car is 8 years old....when I drive it though it doesn't feel that way... :-)

Be careful where you get one though. Sometimes (from what I have heard and been told) that some of the aftermarket hood for our cars don't fit right and require tweaking in order to fit properly. Maybe you can find one online somewhere that came off a true SS car.

Yes the hood gives it more of a aggressive look to it I think....I have seen them on the Z-28 before and I think it looks good....pricing one will be fun.... :-)

The hood alone definitely changes the whole outlook of the car.

The SS wing is nice....I thought about getting the SS hood as well....hmmm...choices...choices....hahaha!

Which ever way you decide please don't put those godawful huge wings on the back of your Cam....I saw some guy with that junk on and I wanted to go punch him for messing the car up...those are just ugly! Definately you do not want to make it look like a ricer!

That's cool, you guys should come on down then...There is a place in Lewsville where you can put your car on the dyno and see what it runs...everyone brings there rides out...Cams,TA'S, Stangs.....Never been a Ford fan though so I could care less about them..heheh. I was thinking about either black TII's or vette wheels. I don't know really....lol...I am picky as hell. Don't want her to look 'ricey' with whatever wheels I choose.

I would love to come and visit Texas sometime. May try to go down there sometime next year if at all possible. BF wants to run his TA down there and see what his track time is...so I may try to go with.
