I think the 396 big block car would be the way to go. Original cars in Australia are getting very limited because everyone is 'bastardizing' them with mods like new interior, exhausts camshafts etc. For the Z28, the money is in them with the original motor and an all numbers matching car, without that, it's just a piece together.
