Yea was kinda a pain, it was the third attempt at it. Still not happy with the driver's side, thinking of using even a thinner sheet of plexiglass to cut the light diffuser out of. Starts out the same as Ofer's mod, light pipe with a LED on one end of it, I added the flat sheet of plexiglass sandwiched between the trim piece and the dash. The edge of the plexiglass is up against the light pipe back behind the trim piece, and the light comes out the other edge of the plexiglass sheet.

Was it hard to put the illumination in the dash like the doors? Where did you find it?
