Each car goes thru an extensive evaluation - and a lot of updates are performed - in many cases, components are replaced - computers receive a new download - parts are updated - -and then when certified that the car meets all production standards, we release them to the GM Auction where dealers may purchase them. I have A9000130 -- and that particular Camaro (Thor) received 48 updates!

I was just wondering what does GM do with the preproduction camaros? Do they put them out on the market and sell them to the public? I found two Camaros for sale and they both have vins that end in 9000XXX. Do they go through quality check before they are sold to the public? Im interested in purchasing a camaro again and was just wondering.
