I gotcha. Will most likely just tune out the AFM for starters, I've heard it sounds all kinds of nasty....

Well it depends on your approach best I can tell. You can spend anywhere from $350ish to $700 on a handheld or laptop software package. The more you spend the more variables you can tweak. The Hypertech I have is pretty limited but does the job. It has a handful of yes/no options like turn AFM off, turn torque management off, etc. You can also take it to a shop and have them do a dyno tune. That would be the most in depth tune as they put your car on the dyno and check all of the data points (shift points, fuel trims, etc.). The only drawback to a dyno tune is if you make more mods later you have to take it back and pay again. I have seen every thing from $250 (East Texas Muscle is running a Camaro5 special) to $500+. You probably have a lot more choices in Fresno than I do in Arkansas. Good luck with the purchase and I am sure it will look great!

Nice selections my friend. I am old and lazy so I went L99. I will tell you that I am getting used to my Flowmasters but you need a tune for the AFM if you go auto.
