Finnally got some info as 6/26/2009 I have the Worrkbench order and it shows the order at event code 2000 and another form GM Order confirmation with a Targert Production Period 8/3-8/9 Yea!! now were talking!!

Here's the info I received today from the dealer:

We're still in the "Sequence" stage. Which means it's getting in line to be built. I know your getting anxious, hang in there.
I'll always keep you informed throughout the process. Feel free to call or email me anytime.

So still have a ways to go. Maybe I'll have my baby by the end of July.

This is the email I got on the 17th.:

So I bet anywhere from 4-5 weeks I'll have it.

Ok Hoddi I saw a CGM camaro on wensday I did'nt get all warm and fuzy so its gona be the SIM!!! and I called the Dealer and Mo said they got 4 allocations and the orders are in!!! Yea!! finnaly getting somewere.

Well I love the SIM, but the CGM is awfully cool too.
Really think about it though.
The SIM looks so awesome in person.
I had a car once that was close to the CGM, and
it looked good even when it was dirty.
