Garage Lift
Used a Liftmaster 3800 jackshaft opener. Ran surface mount conduit to it from the old opener plug box.
Garage has 10' of height -- just enough for a 5' high BMW and a 4' igh Corvette
Eliminated the central opener. Had to later replace part of the top horizontal door support channel with C channel at edge to park cars facing forward
To leave space at rear of garage for refrigeraor and tools, locaed the lift near the door. Therefore ramps need to stick outside. BTW replaced heavy steel ramps with ligthweight RaceRamps. BIG...

Direct Lift 8S was the widest between the posts while being narrow overall. Plenty of room for the wife's car. Garage is 21x21 with an 18' door.
Plenty of room for everything.  It only takes about 5-10 minutes to swap cars.
The refirgerator is about 3' deep
