Nice!!... I don't know why I didn't think of this... wondering if something like nail polish might be a bit darker. What do you think?

well, the problem I thought nail polish might present is that since the steering wheel is vertical, it might run. This pic was taken immediately after the first coat was put on, so it looks wet, shiny and thin. after a few coats with a few days between each to dry, it looks darker and a little more matte. I'm pretty sure I'll be seeing you next Sunday, you can check it out in person there and get a better feel for it.
