I believe more so its the epoxy clear coat. I remember watching a video on the ZR1 and them stating the clear coat ran close to $50,000 a gallon. I think all the roofs are the same across the board, at leat from a manufacturing perspective.

Didnt think there be imperfections. Also didnt know the UV blocker was expensive. When i paint glow in dark always have to use special clear coat with out blocker.
But that is the case i can see a charge but $995 would been nicer. :-)

I understand but still waiting to see where GM corrected themselves on the black wheels. Did they send out a memo or call the dealers where people already ordered to inform the buyer. Where? I'm one of those buyers and have not seen anything or heard anything on the wheels issue.

still waiting to hear info on the Performance Data Recorder.. any clue on price? I have to finalize my choices before i leave on vacation in 2 weeks. going over seas no clue if my phone will work or if i will be able to get on internet to get prices

Here it is for downloading: C7 RPO spreadsheet... it'll help you experiment w/ various prices & options. Not sure how 100% accurate the dealer invoice/costs are but it's a good tool.
