Difference between RS and Non RS Taillights on 2010-2013

I only ask because I have a 2012 1SS and recently replaced my taillights with some LED's I found on eBay. But my OEM tails have RS on sticker. See below:

The difference is that the lip around the inner lens is black for the RS, and, it's chrome on the non-RS.

I kinda dig those LED tails. tinted, those would look pretty killer. How do you like them/what'd you pay for them if you don't mind?

They are all over ebay... $169 shipped!!!. So far so good. I'm just afraid they won't last because they cost so cheap.

Did you need resistors so they don't hyper flash? Been wanting to get those but I was concerned about the install.

Just as a note, starting 2012 model year (so '12 and '13), all Camaros came with the previous RS-only tail lights (the darker housing instead of the chrome housing).

They come with load resistors with double sided tape so they can be mounted in the housing right outside the lights. So no hyper flash.

I think that is a generic statement. Send the seller a message. Mine did for sure and they are already attached/wired. Will take a picture when I get home in the RS today.
