From that same site in the FAQ.

All 2008 and 2009 GM cars, SUVs, crossovers and light-duty trucks are eligible for the GM Military Discount Program except:

Chevrolet
2009 Corvette ZR1

Although the Z06 is on that site, there are not any dealers that will sell them for supplier pricing. or even corvettes for that matter. GM does not pay the dealer back some profit on any type of Corvette if they sell it for Supplier or GMS.

I bet I could find a couple of dealers that would. don't say none. lol We have a very military friendly dealer here in fayetteville. . .I'll talk to my dealer today.

are we talking about the supplier pricing discount or just rebates? because the military discount is supplier pricing PLUS rebates.

Not that I'm aware of.

The only ordering is through the dealer. You have to go in, sit down, check all the boxes, and let the dealer order the car. I wouldn't mind cutting out the middleman too, but doesn't work that way.

$28,000 for a base V8 SS is the highest I'll go.. $2,000 more for upgrades and on top of that add $1800 on taxes, $500 or more on dealer fees, etc.. You're spending a good $33,000 for the V8 SS with minor upgrades. The SS/RS package might be in the $4,000 range, who knows.. In either case, I might be more selective on the upgrades to keep the cost down. I do want 20 inch wheels but only if they don't cost a whole lot extra..
