Hi guys . Just bought a 2012 camaro 2ss v8 . I hear clicking coming from the front of the car .. (more from the right side) . What might be tbe cause . Also when im goin 25-30 engine feels like it wants to lose power.

hey mate, sorry to hear about your problem but without video it's going to be 'guess-diagnostic'

get the car inspected by the dealer where you bought the car (if that's the case with dealer) and tell them they gonna buy back..it will work I promise you )

The clicking is so little its very hard to catch it on video.

get the dealer involved if you really worried about the noise.
all ls engines make noise though just to let you know

Have you done the 50K mile maintenance? I did on my 2014 1SS. Night and day difference!!

If it's 3 clicks when you start that's normal. Had that checked out when I bought mine new. 3 clicks means all OK.

No such thing on my 2012 what does it involve?

Here is the 2014 maintenance schedule not sure any of that fixes a tick

Don't know about clicking , that could be a number of things, but the feeling of loss power comes from the engine management system, V8 to V6 to help gas mileage. I don't like it but nothing you can do about it. Read about it in your owners manual.

You are prob hearing the injectors, they sound like a freakin sewing machine, NORMAL!

Frankwjr i will cbeck out othe furms .. i will try to take video of what its making . Iv hear that they can change from 4 cyl to 8 to save gas .is that true

If yours is an automatic, it's true.

Manuals don't have this.
