I agree. That may not stop an aftermarket company from ordering a few '24s, stock piling them and then making them over to resemble a concept Z28. It won't fly in terms of collectability because it will not be a legitimate z28. It will be an aftermarket package done to a '24 LT1 or 'SS, with perhaps an engine transplant. It will be extremely expensive but not necessarily collectible.

Just saw one in Michigan! Had test hardware/wiring inside so i couldnt hop in, hut it was on public display. I also saw one of the new Hummer SUVs there being used as a personal vehicle.

I can't for the life of me figure out why they gave it the Avalanche like look in the front of the bed-sides. I think this design would end up more annoying than useful.

I mean it's a Silverado for brand recognition I'm sure but it's a 3rd gen Avalanche through and through in design. Right down to the Midgate.
