6L90E Stock Limits

How many people are on a stock 6L90E trans with high hp/torque? How long have you been running that power on the 6L90E? If anyone has any stories or opinions post them up. Thanks!

My car just turned 30,000 miles, I've had this setup since 9200 miles. It has been to the track (1/4 mile) a dozen times or so, so pretty much driven all the miles on the street. I'm still running the stock converter and trans with only a couple fluid changes. Still shifts flawlessly!!!

My trans went 50,000 miles before it went. Twice a week at the drag strip plus some 1/2 mile runs. When it went I was putting down 744 whp. Have since beefed it up with parts from PATC and it has been ok at over 800 whp now, just trying to get it to shift at 8,000 rpm. Once new engine is in, with a bunch more power, will see how the trans handles it then.

Two days a week at the track for 50,000 miles is pretty solid lol.

There are plenty of ZL1's and CTS-V's at 1k RWHP that are still getting by on the stock 6L90. You will need a good tuner to keep it alive.
