ZL1 swap to SS Speedometer

Long story short, I️ have a 2012 ZL1. I️ am bumping up my redline with the new engine to 8,000rpm. The current speedometer only goes to 7,000rpm. The 2010 L99 and LS3 speedometer goes to 9,000rpm. Has anyone swapped them before and is it possible?

It's possible, you just have to reprogram the cluster to the correct mileage and VIN. Don't know how to do it without sending it somewhere. I have a post on how to do it myself but no responses. I'm trying to get a ZL1 in my SS

It’s actually not together yet, but the engine builder has done this particular block build numerous times and ensured me with my setup that 8000-8500 is still in my safe zone.

I'm also going for a Dart next ls block. I run a solid lifter cam with Jesel rockers.
