LSA Crankshaft Limits

So I️ know the LSA crankshaft is shared with the B15 LSX Block and is a Forged crankshaft. But, has anyone ever broken an LSA crankshaft or know what it’s limits truly are? Any insight or opinions would be great. Thanks!

I'd say if you are running an aluminum block that you will meet the block limits before the crank runs out. LSA crank should be good from 1000hp to 1200hp at the crank, and up to 1500hp if you wanna test your luck.

Depending on the tune, 1200hp, it will go further but you will see deflection in the bearings as it starts to flex and bounce around.

Inside an original engine LSA, it's good for about 900-1000 crank. In a motor with upgrades; like it looks like you have, it should do 1000-1200 but I must say you'd be pushing the hell out of it and it will start to flex as noted above; I might recommend going to a Callies or something like that.

I had 1000 rwhp for three years and my crankshaft held up great. It is/was the pistons that will be the week point......
