MOTORTREND Head 2 Head (more in-depth look from Inde) -ZL1 TAKES ON BOSS VIDEO :D
It's really the same review that we've seen from the Inde Motorsports Park, however, it's cooler because it's a video
The quick and dirty: ZL1 : 1:41.3 Boss Laguna Seca : 1:43.7 Nothing new to learn, just sweet to watch in action Interesting remarks around 6:40... ZL1 "only" pulled a .4 second advantage down the straight on the Boss, I think, just showing how much better the whole package is; it doesn't only boil down to the power deficit so many people try to point to. The Boss gets a little of that disadvantage back by way of it's lighter weight, but, the reviewers weren't confident in it's brakes as much and it couldn't care the speed as well.

I am really liking the videos from Motor Trend. Maybe I wouldn't have liked it as much if the results were'nt favorable (lol), but I think it was done really good and looks and sounds great.
KUDOs to MT for some good stuff.

I agree. Not taking their results into consideration, I feel that MT has by far produced the best review videos. The webisode and now this are two top quality productions.

I'd encourage everyone to have a look. They have Ignition, Head 2 Head, and another that leaves my right now...

I love the Boss 302, but next to the ZL1, it looks out dated already.

Wow, that was a great video. It's true that that mustang now looks outdated compared to the Camaro, Seems the ZL1 has that futuristic look and will continue looking good for a long while.
I can't wait to see this battle of the 2013 GT500 & ZL1. It'll be epic. This competition will only be better and better for us. |

Depends on your style preference. The Mustangs have a much more compact, narrow, rounded body vs. the Camaro's large, wide, sharp, carved line body. Much like the '68 Camaro vs. the '69. I think the rear of the new GT500 look awesome, but prefer the Camaro's sharp lines and wide, brute body overall, and the stance/wheelbase on the ZL1 is unmatched with the 305's in the rear

IMHO - CAMARO just looks more muscular and has a stronger presence. The Mustang looks maybe more athletic - like comparing a football player to a soccer player. I'm not a soccer-person, so that could explain one of the reasons I favor CAMARO more than the Mustang. I also agree the rear of that GT500 is looking really good. I expecially like the taillights. I definately look forward to seeing the headlights in the mirrors though
