The seats look awesome, the steering wheel does but the leather doesn't appear well, it looks like it was stretched to stitch.

Whoa—hold on a second. It doesn't have AWD. I'm really disappointed.

I want to point out that my disappointment with the vehicle is limited to calling it the SS. Chevrolet has too many great names lying around to calling this a trim level that applies to various platforms. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the interior and general design. It is a pretty vehicle. I'm still more of Camaro guy.

The lack of differentiation between the Chevy SS and the Holden SS-V is disappointing.
Change the badges on the front grill, deck lid, and steering wheel and you're done.

For crying out loud, they could at least give it different front and rear clips.
That's a real shame and a design failure.

Also, whoever decided to name a car SS should be punched in the face.
Like The_Blur said, with so many great names laying around unused, that's a slap in the face.

All that said, the car does look good.
Albeit it's a pretty safe design, it should be more aggressive IMHO.

I'm sure it's a quality built and great driving cars, as the Commodores (and G8) before it.

The Chevrolet SS spec sheet "Hero Card" shows five available exterior colors:

Red Hot 2 (I wasn't aware there had been a Red Hot 1)
Phantom Black
Silver Ice (what all the promo photos are of)
Mystic Green
Heron White

This would have been a very successful product if it came out 5 years ago. IMHO, it seems that Chevy forgot that the sport sedan market has recently blown through the roof and unfortunately this just comes across as another run of the mill sport sedan with nothing "special" about it. Having stated my opinion, Chevy seems to have set themselves up for at best, a mediocre achievement.
