GM Family Pricing
I have been told and also went to the GM family site Looks like GM is now giving the discounts on the C 7.My wife's dad retired from GM 35 years with them.I am in Oklahoma not sure if my local dealer will honor the discounts,does anyone no of a dealer that will honor the discount?

Here is the rule: Chevy dealers do not have to honor employee pricing but if offer4ed on one hevy vehicle line it must be offered across the Chevy lineup, except the Corvette vehicle line. I do not know if the discount can be offered only for Corvette but I suspect not.
The price to the dealer is set below invoice. Several years ago I was told the dealer received $750 for delivering a GMS Corvette, $600 for full sized (Caprice/Impala), $500 for medium sized (Malibu) and $400 for compact (Cavalier/Cobalt/Cruze) and I wonder if that remains true. If you live close to a GM assembly plant, chances are there is a dealer accepting GMS. I understand there are extra auditing steps for dealers taking GMS (which would be a factor when deciding to accept GMS) and may be why GMS is not accepted by every dealer. Laborsmith |
