2017 Seats
I am getting ready to order my new 2017 Z06 and cannot decide between GT seats vs competition seats. My current Z51 has GT seats, so I know how they feel & perform, but I am looking for some input from those who have competition seats on whether you like them, don't like them , and the reasons why & why not. I like the way they feel, but that's only based on my sitting on them for a few minutes at the dealership. Not enough seat time to know how they would be over time. Please help me out with your responses.
thanks for the cooperation & help

Not sure how much I can offer but here's my 2 cents.
I have a '16 Z06 that I took delivery on July 15, 2016 with GT seats. I really like the seats. I took the Corvette Customer performance driving class at Spring Mountain 2 weeks ago and drove a '16 Z06 that had the competition seats. I think the competition seats were a little stiffer. The Corvette website says the competition seats "Provide performance fit and bolstering ". They do but so do the GT seats. I actually thought the power lumbar and bolsters on the GT seats was a little better. After driving vehicles with both seat types, I could not justify the cost of the competition seats which cost $2495 in 2016. Just remember I only drove using the competition seats for 2 days versus a year with the GT seats.. |
