Agreed. I would have to go with what they refer to as the "5-spoked, machine-faced aluminum" - $1495 option.

I have never really liked the popular contemporary look of today's dark, black, midnight gray wheels. Its generational, I guess. This new look seems to appeal to the younger guys, while old school guys like me tend to prefer a brighter wheel. I have often said, "They look like thw wheels on cop cars or taxi cabs with out hub caps".

So when I saw the Cyber Gray C7 with the bright wheels, I thought that's what I wanted. Then they rolled out a Torch Red with the black painted wheels and I was stunned on how beautiful the combo was with the black carbon fiber trim.

Ordered May 30, 2013. Status Code 1100; Torch Red, Z51, Black Wheels, Black Carbon Fiber Roof.

I've always known you could do this, just not how much it would cost. I'm getting black wheels, but I would like to have my calipers painted red, and not pay $600 bucks for the option. How much do you think it would be to have a shop paint those? And to push your knowledge a little further, what do you think it would cost to get a thin red stripe around the outside of the wheel as well? Thanks!

EDIT: My dealer informed me that the $600 dollar caliper paint option means that paint is also under warranty. Interesting point that I hadn't thought of, went ahead and did it. Kerbeck Corvette has been nothing short of a fantastic experience all around.

I'm torn between the Black and the Chrome Z51 style...
It'll be nice to see the "Torque" in chrome too.

Going with Q7S Black when I get mine. Triple Black in and out!!! Didn't get the Corvette center caps, though. But, I like how they look now, so I'll add it in.

Someone mention torque wheels? ....
Do torque wheels come in left side and right side versions?
If they don't,consider how weird they must look on the wrong side... They got torqued in reverse you could say!!
Then consider rotating . Michelin recommends rotating L to R and VV. HMMM<
