tightening air deflectors under the bumper?

Hi, today I realized that the rubber part (air deflector) at the bottom of the front bumper Is kind of loose.
What can I do to tighten them before they fall off loose?

Any help will be appreciated

If you are referring to the rubber piece that is up under the front bumper, just take it off, I did a long time ago as it looked kinda tacky. It doesn't go much. After a while of pulling up over parking blocks you will mess it up anyway. I see a lot of cars driving around with them just hanging there "flappin" in the wind. lol

The air deflector does just that. It deflects air AND DIRT down and away from your engine
compartment. I replaced mine a few years ago. I also replaced the special retainer clips
which were expensive as I remember.

Don't waste your money on the GM fasteners. Go to Lowes or Home Depot and get some nylon screws and wingnuts. 1/10 the price.

Just take it off, it's pretty useless.

As for tightening them, it's just a plastic screw and nut. They are designed to come loose and fall off in case you run over something instead ripping off your front bumper.

For replacements here is the cheapest place you'll find them. Screws: https://www.clipsandfasteners.com/GM...0-p/a21301.htm nuts: https://www.clipsandfasteners.com/GM...0-p/a21302.htm
