I like the Sparks SS, so I'm glad it had the holes!
Looks great!

Thanks man! I love how it looks.

No the 2011 does not have pins....use fishing line and take your time...
I had mine off but put it back on....
I'll look to see if I have pics of both ....

No glue. I used automotive grade 3M double sided foam tape. The same stuff they used to put the lettering on the fenders. Easy enough to take off if you don't like it. But I think you will.

I was thinking about doing this, I have a V-flag I want to put on instead.... but some ***** put their door into the "O" AND the "C" on either side of the car and now I have a little indent where those letters are. Is there a way to fix that? I also have not one but TWO dings on the passenger side door crease, all the way into primer.

Seriously, what is wrong with people? I even park away from other cars and for some reason people will still park their stupid minivan or whatever next to me. It's like they just NEED to park near other people.

take all the letters off and find a paint less dent removal service in your town...they do amazing work for cheap.

Okay so how?

So I get the goo gone, and spray it on the Camaro letters. Let is sit for 15 minutes, and then spray it again for 15 more minutes and then use the floss to take the letters off. Is that correct?

Yeah it's pretty easy. Did mine in about 30 minutes. The hardest part is getting the excess gunk off the vehicle.

Jim
I used a heat gun, fishing line, and goo gone. I would heat up a letter for several seconds, saw it from the adhesive with the fishing line, repeat. Then you're left with all the adhesive. I would soak the letters for a while and start rubbing it off with a cotton rag. Then repeat that step.

I'm not sure if there is any easier way, but I got the lettering off the sides and the rear bowtie off this way. It took a little while, (over an hour) but it worked well enough and didn't hurt the paint.

Note: I did wash the area afterwards to get rid of any goo gone that was still on the paint. I wouldn't want to let that stuff sit on it for too long.

I'm going to attempt to remove my Camaro lettering tomorrow. Gonna attempt to put vinyl on the bowties. I was wondering if anyone has attempted to vinyl or plasti-kote the chrome trim around the tail lights? If so, how did you get them off?
