Curious on what is done to make that and cost, PM please!

It really does baffle me that there should be any animosity amongst the other Camaro owners. This kind of reminds me of when the ls1 came out, and how a lot of the owners were bashing the lt1s. I can understand why the mustang guys would have a problem with this car, but not the SS owners. I think the 5th gen is a great car in all trim levels. The new mustangs are quicker than the Camaros at every level, but ultimately, I don't think the performance is what sells the Camaro, I really think it's the styling. The new 5.0 is an animal, but has been losing the sales race to the 5th Gen camaro almost every month.

I wonder if the guys driving the standard vette have a problem with the Z06 and ZR1 owners.

I, for one, am happy to have the kind of choices we have these days...whether it be Chevy, Ford, or Dodge. I remember when 300 horsepower was a big deal. Enjoy it now, it won't be here much longer.

Enjoy your car. It is a fun car. Try to ignore those who seem disenfranchised in life. don't look for approval online or anywhere else.

No jealousy here....i love all Camaro's! HOWEVER, i didnt purchase one not because i cant, but because i consider myself a trend setter and not a follower.....and before someone gets out a flame thrower, what i meant by that is i choose to see what types of mods i can do to make my car unique and different from the masses. I've been into moding vehs since my Mini-Truckin days and what i have noticed is that a lot of the things that we do to our cars end up being encorporated into new vehicles by Auto companys anyways. Not to mention, my vehicle has a lot of sentimental value to me and instead of trading her in for what i think is hot at the moment, i choose to keep her and ADD to my collection. Stepping down from my soapbox now.

Put the GT500 engine in my ZL1 and I would be happy. That motor is badass. pretty darn impressive when you can get a factory V8 with 662hp

The GT500 is a BEAST no doubt. I wouldn't turn either one of these beasts down...it would be great to have both.
