I got a bunch of M118 pulled bullets off this guy, decent price on his stuff, and ships any size order for $10.

For bullets, I'm not picky where just whoever has the cheapest price atm. I buy from Midway, Cheaper Than Dirt, Grafs, Wideners, Powder Valley, and Midsouth Shooters Supply. One of these sites is always running a sale.

For brass, never buy new brass unless it is for a odd caliber. Always buy once fired brass and you will save a ton. Midway and Wideners both sale once fired brass. Also Ar15.com has a for sale section and people all the time are saleing once fired brass on there for cheap.

For powder, develop loads that only use one type of powder. I only use two powders. I have a pistol powder and I have a rifle powder, that's it. This way you spread out the cost of the powder among different calibers and reduce your overhead even further. If you are going to reload a lot, buy the 8 lb jug vs the 1 lb bottle. It's more expansive but it will save you $30-$40 vs buying 8 1 lb bottles.

I always buy in bulk. I never deal with anything less then 1k rounds. Things I shoot the most, .223, 9mm, and .45, I'll buy 1,500 - 2k rounds worth. This way you save on shipping and its cheaper to buy 1 box of 1k vs 10 boxes of 100. I reload a box for about 1/3 the cost compared to retail.

I agree with most of that..... I do tend to stick with a particular bullet weight tho, for pistol loads I can change from .40 to .45 without a change in powder charge.

.45 is moving to small primers, so I bought a good supply of once fired lg primer brass.

My local shop doesn't discount 8lb powder enough to make it worthwhile, but I do use the same for all handgun loads.

.308 is a whole new animal..... I used 3 diif. powders and 3 diff. bullets at 5 diff. powder loads each in a Savage 10. I've got it at 1MOA @300yds in a good cross wind shooting off of pillows..... gonna try for 1/2 MOA on a calm day and leadsled soon. I'm liking that rifle!
