That guy in the video lives with his mom.

If anything that guy did in 34 miles hurt the car then I'd say the ZL1 or any Camaro wouldn't be worth owning.

OK Speed congratulations then. I will call the dealer and let them know that I am out before they call me again!

Precisely. These are tanks. I, umm, 'heard' of a guy who has hammered his on tracks throughout it's break-in miles. Last I saw of the guy, his car is purring like a kitten. The vlogger really did treat it kindly and, judging by the high pitched elation, I honestly don't think he drove it any harder off camera. Cute reaction.

Glad to hear you've decided to go for it! I watched the video again and can guarantee he never came close to redlining until the last pull. All the previous ones, he was shifting early or letting off. He actually let off on the last one before it shifted, so it never redlined either. Doesn't really matter unless it gives you a little more peace of mind. Let us know when it's a done deal.

So I am going with this car. Confirmed pickup and final details this afternoon. Will have it next week when I take it 500 / 600 miles home. ROAD TRIP!

Exactly! He doesn't have the skill set to really push that car. I can't believe some of the people who thinks these cars are so fragile. Even read about a guy who took it to a dealer because the traction light kicked on in winter and he was worried about his car. Turns out the tires were wearing and it was cold lol I understand not everyone is a racer or drifter and I don't get in my car with the intentions of destroying it but damn the whole point of these is to DRIVE them.

Yeah, I've seen several, he's not the worst. It's just his reaction the first time he gets on it...watch it, you'll get my joke.

My local friends said get the car. Just have the dealer clean the drivers seat given the reviewers reaction.

He didn't give the tires flat spots, he didn't do a burnout. He didn't run a 1/4 mile drag from a dig, he didn't do 60-0 stop tests, and no drifting! None of what most folks would consider "ragging out" the car. If you exceeded GM employee pricing (about $5k off) you should actually consider it a great deal for the rather soft 34 mikes.

I believe I'd be more concerned with what the paint looks like and get that extended warranty for peace of mind at dealer cost. But, it's a done deal now apparently.

Good looking car! No need for such an emotional roller coaster on this one. So tell us the deal you ended up with? We should know the results of all the support you got! Eh?

I wouldn't hesitate a moment to take the car as planned. With the warranty that you have, and the relatively light spirited driving this guy has done, I think a Chevy engine will stand up to all of that and much more. Buy it.
