Number 3, those pics bring back some good memories...

Pete, now that the Automobile Magazine times from Gingerman are in, how do they compare to your times, there, with your Camaro vs. Mustang test?

We will allow our resident Buick-o-phile Fenwick tell us that tale.

Assuming it has something to do with GM Canada.

This launched in Australia today.

And along with that came this announcement...

Quote:
MY14 Export Announcement
Smart decision to target profitable programs. Mike Devereaux was overseas when announcement was made but he noted he was pleased to see so much coverage internationally, and positive coverage from US media; who openly welcome the return of the Commodore under another brand.

Commodore will return to North America as the new Chevrolet SS performance sedan. It will be a limited production derivative but the numbers being thrown around are speculation. It will be subject to dealer orders, as per the PPV. There will not be a fixed ‘schedule’ of production.

It will become Chevrolet’s next NASCAR Sprint Cup racecar, debuting next year. It’s a great example of how GM is able to leverage its global product portfolio. It shows Holden can and will, continue to pursue targeted, profitable export programs that add value to Holden and GM. It also demonstrates the importance to Holden of profitable exports.
No limit on Chevrolet SS production. Just order away.

Well that's kind of a let down.... I was hoping there was a cool story behind it.

ELECTRA

Which design has better lines?
Which will look as great today in 50 years?

GM renews Electra trademark; no hint of car's return
