Exactly. There will be meets in other area's to come. I really want to do a meet at the East Lancaster Sonic in the afternoon or evening maybe May 10?? If the interest is there. I also want to do a meet in Hershey. Then maybe in the summer a meet in Carlisle/Chambersburg general area for those out to the west.

Hi guy's. If you do a meet in Chambersburg/Carlisle area, count me in! I just found this thread the other day and subscribed. I see a lot of Camaros around here. It'd be nice to meet some of the owners! Lancaster/York is about 1h 45min. drive for me.

May 10th is just over two weeks away so If you would like to meet at the East Lancaster Sonic that works for me. We can schedule a Rita's meet for sometime after May 10th and even after a possible Hershey meet.

We could even make the meets on a rotating basis between York, Lancaster and Hershey so we can keep things interesting and fair for everyone. I drive from York to Hershey everyday for work anyway so it is no big deal for me.

If we do an East Lancaster Sonic Meet on the 10th, what time works for everyone?

Those of us coming from York area we ought to meet up and group cruise out to there. Big thing is time & something good we can get the most cars together with.

Is this the one you are talking about?
Sonic Drive-In
2223 Lincoln Hwy E, Lancaster, PA

Does this Sonic have the car show events the second Saturday of the month like the one in Red Lion? If they do then we could meet up in time for the show, if not how about 6 or 7 pm?

The 10th will work for me but just throwing it out there if we really want to meet on a Sunday the 11th or 18th for late in the morning or early in the afternoon. I know the SEPA5 guys usually have stuff on a Sunday and they usually draw a good crowd. Doesn't really matter where for me I'm pretty much centrally located.

Sepa5 has been meeting at 10am on the last Sunday of every month, (rain date the following Sunday), and this seems to work just fine. No day/time is going to be good for everybody so just have a majority agree on when and where and stick to it! Also maybe you could get an idea of where your members are and come up with a central location. Audoban Pa for us seems perfect for just about everybody!

Kind of what I was thinking of having a set date for each month. Maybe the 3rd Sunday with the last Sunday set for a rain date. This way the guys from SEPA5 can come to our events and we can go to theirs. Just my thought. If anybody else has a suggestion or something that would work better for the group, please chime in. I'll start a list with where people live so we can get an idea where we want to meet and where we are coming from. Post or IM me to include your name.

Everyone interested in doing meets should post up your location, that is a great idea. The problem is we can't be 5 minutes from everybody's house and everyone interested has to understand that. If people are interested then they have to be willing to put a little drive in.

I would love to join SEPA5 for some events as well and make a big group event sometime as well.

We need all suggestions and ideas and I personally am open to anything.

I like a set date each month, but I would rather stay away from Sundays because of involvement with church activities. Obviously Sunday mornings for church, but I am also a youth group leader and we meet in the evening on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Friday evenings or Saturdays work better for me more often than not.
