I'm buying a set of bow ties from Lupe (I hate the gold color). I have a black 1LE. The inside (gold part) will be flat black with the small red stripe ("transformer bow tie"). I don't know whether to go with gloss black or flat black on the outside (chrome). I'm leaning towards all flat black plus the red stripe. I'm getting flat black tail light bezels too. Anyone here have flat black bow ties? I'm going with the red stripe (which will be matte red) to give it a little "pop" vs having a bow tie that is all flat black.

Mines from Gary's customs it's matte black with the gloss stripe. Hope this helps.

Yes it does help....that's exactly what I was thinking about ordering and it looks amazing!! Great choice for your 1LE...I hope it looks as good on my black 1LE.

I had the same decision myself, so I bought a bunch of bowties on ebay and painted them all myself.

You can order over the web. Lupe does amazing work and is all top notch, seen it first hand. His username is overhaulengines on here.
