Badging on engine bay support brace?

I haven't seen any pictures of anybody doing this yet. Has anybody put any type of badging on the support brace in the engine bay? It seems like a natural place to put a classic "Camaro" or "SuperSport" badge. I'm just not sure something would stick on the rough surface of the brace.

Any pics or ideas?

I'm going to guess that you're referring to the strut tower brace. You might want to check out www.emblempros.com , they can make anything that you can think of and 3M tape can stick anything to anything.

If you happen to be talikng about the strut brace on the Verts, the center bar is actually quite smooth. Some people have even polished it.

I had my strut tower brace chromed out, and in the process, had the guy paint in the "Super Sport" letting that I chose. I recommend it.

That looks great! I want to get "45th Anniversary" across it. I'll check out emblempros. Thanks!

Anybody else with lettering on their strut tower brace please post some pics.

It's a little gaudy IMHO, I'm not a fan of putting lots of emblems or decals everywhere.

WHY NOT BRO. I HEAR ITS 5 HORSE POWER PER STICKER!

I think it would get hot in there....and youd have to open up your hood all the time to show it off.

Good thinking about the heat - hadn't considered that. I've been leaving my signed engine cover off and only putting it on for shows, looks like I'll keep doing that.

The heat i doubt would be any issue. I have a custom bowtie under hood done by emblem pros. All the graphics and lettering is attached by 3m tape. It has been on for 9 months now i guess with zero issues. No fading, warping or coming loose.

I polished mine about a month ago- comes out great with little effort.

As for heat.... my engine cover is painted with vinyl decals and no issues, likewise, I have the emblem pros hood bow tie- no issues either. And this is with off-raod headers... hot enough to melt my gfx!
