Sold my camaro. Now I have a nice down for the z06.

I shouldn't have these issues anymore because of turning hard in my next road courser....

This happened to me a while ago. It's an easy fix and can be made stronger than stock at almost no cost. You can see what I did in my build thread on pg 6

The best course of action is to buy the ZL1 / 1LE rear lower control arms, 28mm rear bar and drop links. The geometry is vastly superior to the old inboard mount rear sway bar.

Yup. Pete is right.

Just don't use those end links and bypass that control arm tab all together.

Order an outboard bar. Hopefully you don't get older LCAs. The new ones have the tabs but also have the set up holes and relocated support member so the outboard bar can be used.

I installed the FE4 LCAs and upgraded to the BMR sway-bar for the 1LE -- didn't want to experience this on my own 2011 2SS...

The 5th Gen delivered with a rear sway bar that mounted inboard of the rear struts. That design is terribly inefficient. The bar is asked to control the action of the wheel that is more than a foot away. When the ZL1 was introduced it delivered with an out board bar mounted close to the wheel. That made the bar far more effective. The new Z bar uses a drop link that is almost identical to the front sway bar on the GM T-900 trucks and SUVs. It is a very robust set up.

The rear lower control arm on the Z had both the old style inboard mount tab and the new style drop-link hole. This was a smart move for inventory as replacement arms from GM fit all models of the 5th Gen.

Buy a new set of arms, ZL1 drop links and rear bar. The bar comes with new brackets. This will update your 5th Gen and dramatically improve handling.

Like Pete said, if you have to order the LCAs anyway (which you do) make sure they are not old inventory ones that do not fit the new longer bar. And buy the longer bar. Other than my supercar coilovers the longer sway bar made the single most difference in handling. Instead of hooking up to the tabs it goes all the way out to the spindle. Solid solid solid.
