I also moved from 3000 (which I have been at since 1/31) to 3300 yesterday -showed up on GMConnects today. No build date or any other information, but glad to see movement. I do have exposed carbon.

Me too...3300 yesterday. After waiting almost 2 months for movement, this is very exciting. Sure, it could just be the Oshawa Gnome moving our orders from inbox to outbox to inbox...but it still feels sooooo good.

Moved to 3400 now! Received this today:

03/23/2012 - (3400) Order Broadcast (internal plant paperwork order produced). Order is sent to various build & supplier areas to bring order together.

Maybe it really is going to finally get built!

The excitement is back!

I have to say that I am perplexed by the lack of excitement about the fact that the production hold seems to be ended. Numerous people are reporting that their status has raised to 3300 (some that had been pushed down to 3000 and some that hit 3300 for the first time). THIS seems to be the good news.

But so many (because they got sub-475 VINs and their cars are built and sitting) are waiting for DELIVERY as the good news event. I can't blame them, but overall for the ZL1 I think that restarting production is the good news we all were looking for. That signals issue resolved and the show goes on. I hope that the "fix" for the already built vehicles is simple (perhaps already complete) and that they get that holding area emptied next week during the plant shutdown.

Any idea why the general ZL1 community here on Camaro5 is not more excited about all of the new status moves?

I believe all of the cars that were above 3000 needed to go back to 3000 in order to get re-scheduled. It is a great sign things are about to get moving again.

I agree, and I hope all those once above 3000 are moved back soon, but to be honest, I think all those that placed their orders first should be built first. There are some that ordered the first day (10/29) that are not at 3000 yet.

Myself, I have been at 3000 FIVE times! And I know it is not over until it is in my garage. I understand the frustration of waiting and seeing others who ordered after you move to production before you all too well, and I am disappointed that my heart stops for all the wrong reasons when I see an email from GMConnects. Seems now I expect bad news which has taken much of the fun from this experience.

I think some dealers took orders before they actually had the allocations avaliable, or took deposits on cars before they could order...just saying because as soon as my dealers allocation became avaliable I went to 3000 in two days.
that was two months ago and I am still at 3000, although I did go to 3300 on 2-23 for ten days before going back to 3000 on 3-1...
