Camaro Revs by itself in 3rd. help?
Okay, i got a interesting question for those with my mods or without them. When i am doing a normal, in traffic, acceleration at around 2k rpm in my manual... while the auto transmission is going to third gear and sometimes 2nd, i get a quick acceleration...almost like a quick rev but its the car that does it by itself. Its only happened since i got the ported throttle body so i am assuming its because of the porting that allows air to rush in there better?
Im not really worried about it... but am wondering if anyone else gets this?

Definitely because of the TB.
It affects the minimum airflow which should be tuned for. |
