Clicking sound from dash

Does any have a clicking sound coming from dash when the car hits a bump? I do. It is coming from the drivers side dash.

Clicking was coming from removal roof

Turns out that the clicking was coming from the area where removal roof meets the windshield. After removing the roof and then replacing clicking has stopped.

I have the same issues with my transparent rooftop ever since I got my 2015 Z51. some times it makes noise on the driver side, sometimes the passenger side, it jumps around. I have to unlatch the top, pull it up a little, put it back down nice & tight, then it will stop for a little while, but always comes back in a day or two. I'm thinking about getting some small ( very small) self adhesive rubber stripping to put at each side front corner to see if that stops it. Just have to be careful not to create a potential leak point.

anybody else have this issue ? any other suggestions on a fix ?

thx

While I haven't experienced any top noises, I have seen an interesting solution on another forum. Slip a small O-ring onto each of the front corner alignment pins. This acts as a small spacer/cusion, eliminating many of the creaks and clicks. The O-rings are 7/16" O.D, 1/4" I.D. and can be found in Lowe's or Home Depot's plumbing departments for a couple bucks for a package of several.

I will try this. I did take off the carbon fiber top and replace with the clear plexiglas. No noise with the plexiglas top. Is this a problem with the 3LT Z51 carbon fiber tops?

I suspect its an issue with all tops, just dependent on how the top is installed. Any slight change in alignment of the pins and receivers could allow extra play in the panel causing noise. Even ambient temperature plays a part. It's probably a random phenomenom, and could occur with any top at any time. Those who take the top out more frequently will likely experience it more, as the pin-receiver alignment is changed more frequently.
