Highest WHP Stock Camaro SS?

I am sure the question has been asked plenty of times, and I have been searching for the answer with no avail. Maybe you gentleman can help me out. Is there any "rexord" set, or do you know of any 1 or few cars that have set the highest WHP on a stock SS? Now when I mean stock, in speaking of no bolton modifications. The car can be tuned, but with no CAI/exhaust/headers/etc...

You most lily won't get a real answer, the dynes are to "unregulated" for lack of a better word. Every dyne is different, so the same car on two different dynos could record a difference of maybe 20 rwhp. Dynos should be used more as a tool of seeing gains. i.e. see what you put down stock, then do your mods, and see how much of an improvement you made, on the same dyno hopefully under similar weather conditions.

You have a point, but I took my car to two different dynos, and the difference was +/- 5 whp

The main reason for this post is because I'm going to re-tune my stock SS, and I should be in the high 390s, and maybe even be able to break 400.

Depending on the dyno yes. But I HIGHLY doubt you will really be putting up those numbers from a bone stock tuned car. I could be wrong.

My buddies car did 360 with only a muffler delete and TB. so basically stock. Then tuned, high flow cats, TB and vararam Tune only intake did 410 so I think on a good dyno, you would be 380, 390 at the most.

Well currently my car sits at 384whp with just a tune.

I'm going to re-tune very soon on E85, I know I won't gain much but I think it will be near 400.

DO not use e-85 on your car its voids the power train warranty instantly just as your tune did but also voids your engine.....putt putt BOOM>................... Guess you never read up on this subject!!!!!!!, try reading your manual, or one of the many posts on here about how the fuel sytem etc was not designed for corn and will self degrade and fail along with possibly the entire engine.

Are you going to change your pump and injectors? It won't blow your engine so don't listen to the conspiracy rumors a lot of people just don't know much about your car would run like absolute crap until it's cleaned out but the stock fuel system couldn't push enough fuel to maintain a good air/fuel mixture in the cylinder think of it this way take the amount of fuel you need with 93 times that by 2.

I know the tune itself voids true warranty. I already know switching to higher octane fuel will void the power train warranty, I'm cool with that. Now, the stock fuel system (i.e. fuel pump & injectors) should be plenty for a stock SS to make the transition to E85. If you think the fuel lines are going to corrode then you've been misinformed.

With E85's higher octane rating, and some more added timing, I don't see why o shouldn't make close to 400. BTW if you lived near Miami, I'm sure I could've hooked you up with the right tuner. Edgar aka DSMLIGHTS

My baseline tune from factory before the tune was 367whp nd 365tq. After the tune I gained around 20 hp and tq. Looking to gain ~15 after the following tune.

Don't worry bro, II've been around E85 since it first came out. My SRT-4 in my sig has been in E85 for about 4 years now, so I know the pros and cons. A lot of people here unfortunately think E85 is taboo for our cars, just wait until the spat into the light and see where the real power comes from.

I've spoken with two 3 different tuners, one of them tunes for GM, and they believe the stock fuel system should be enough. We will see how much we can safely get squeeze out, and if we run out of fuel I will simply get upgraded injectors.
